Faith & Family

Desi holidays and celebrations are the backbone of immigrant community life. We proudly attend these events where we can wear festive clothing, showcase our traditions and vibrant culture. But LGBTQIA+ people and their families are often made to feel uncomfortable in these spaces by direct or indirect means. We offer affirming, joyful celebrations of events such as Dusshera, Gurpurab, Christmas and Eid so that all can be included, just as they are. This program is a part of our Speaker series.
